I create high fired finials for the garden and home.  My finials are inspired by bird and fish images I've imagined.  Each finial is unique.  They are stained with a red oxide and fired in a reduction gas kiln which gives them a slightly organic metallic finish.  They are weather hardy but look at home whether in the garden or by the fireside.
My collection is called Wings for Angels and is dedicated to children born with Angelman's Syndrome.  These children,  born with a variety of developmental disabilities, display a wonderful sense of happiness which infects all those lucky enough to know them.  Hence "angels".
